About me and my therapy practice

* I am currently offering online appointments and when appropriate I will be offering a combination of both face-to-face and online provision.

I have over 17 years of experience working in mental health. In addition to my private therapy and supervision role, I work for Oxford University as therapist, group facilitator, clinical supervisor and specialist mental health mentor supervisor. I also provide clinical supervision for the Riverside Counselling Service based in Oxfordshire. I gained my professional qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy from Oxford University in the psychodynamic modality.  In addition to my counselling qualifications I have a ESRC funded Masters in diversity in Higher education. I also spend time working on fostering panels for the placement of 'looked after' children.

Over my years of practice I have become more integrative in my approach which now involves supporting people using short-term, pro-active and solution focused models.   Equally I offer long-term psychotherapy as required.

My experience enables me to work across the age and gender spectrum with a range of difficulties including men's health and wellbeing and student issues as well as clients from more adverse backgrounds.

I can provide:

• Short and long-term 1-1 one counselling

• Clinical supervision 1-1, pairs and groups

• Specialist mentoring for students, this would involve a focus on managing the demands of study
