About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with my clients, from my private practice based in Crawley, in an empathic collaborative way in order to help them explore their difficulties and enhance their self-awareness in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Within my work, I adopt a Humanistic approach. This means I believe in keeping my clients at the forefront of the counselling process. I offer therapeutic play when working with children and young people using creative materials.

Practice description

I am able to offer an open-ended counselling service to my clients according to their own individual needs. Some people benefit from short-term work, whereas others may require longer-term support. This is all taken in to consideration during our initial meeting, where together we can discuss your hopes and expectations for the counselling work and decide if I am the right therapist for you. Thereafter, my 50 minute sessions typically occur on the same day/time each week in order to create and maintain an effective therapeutic relationship.

My first session

I offer an initial 50 minute assessment session at a reduced fee of £20 in order for you to discuss your difficulties, and for us both to decide if we feel we are able to continue to work together without any pressure or obligation. This can be conducted face-to-face, via zoom, telephone or home visit.
