About me and my therapy practice
Counselling and Supervision Services. I would usually meet with you face to face in my premises in Gilford, Northern Ireland. However, during the COVID-19 crisis I have moved my practice online offering you the choice of video or telephone counselling.
Concession rates for students. I have experience in counselling children and young people, adults and couples for a variety of issues.
Whether you are seeking counselling to address a particular issue or want to invest time to explore how you can become the best version of yourself....I can help. Counselling doesn't have to be the last resort in a crisis. it's about looking after ourselves so that we have energy for the life we want to live.
The quality of attunement in a therapist is his or her ability to capture and express the sense of how you are feeling in the moment. You feel heard. You feel that the counsellor experiences you and responds in a way that best fits your needs in the moment and it is this quality that is believed to be essential for therapeutic change.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to see if counselling is the right course of action for you at this time and also if I am the right counsellor.
If you decide to go ahead we would discuss the best option whether face to face or online (online only during COVID-19) and then make a suitable appointment.
