About me and my therapy practice
Life has its ups and down and sometimes it can feel like a struggle. If you are having a difficult time, I'd like to help if I can. I offer a warm, sensitive, non-judgemental and confidential space to help you talk about whatever is troubling you and support you in moving forward. Everyone is different and so it could be you would like help with anxiety, low mood, grief, relationships, stress, attachment, self-confidence, trauma, unhappiness or maybe something else? As a professionally qualified, accredited and experienced therapeutic counsellor I am here to listen and offer supportive and non-judgemental counselling.
I am BACP registered and accredited, am DBS checked and I work with adults and young people aged 16 and above. As an Integrative counsellor, I am professionally trained, qualified and experienced in using a range of counselling approaches. As everyone is different, this means I can take an individual approach to each client and tailor it to meet your particular needs.
Counselling can help you explore the difficulties you are facing, bring relief as well as new awareness and perspectives and support you in understanding relationships. This process can help you enhance your emotional wellbeing and build resilience to handle life's challenges.
I have a First Class BSc (hons) degree in Therapeutic Counselling, Level Five Diploma in Counselling Young People, Level Four Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and I am a National Counselling Society certified Online and Telephone counsellor.
My Integrative training draws on humanistic, psychodynamic and relational theories and I have a particular interest in attachment theory. I am also trained in using creative resources in therapy as some clients find this approach helpful in exploring thoughts and feelings.
If you are interested in seeing if counselling could be helpful to you, please contact me for a free initial telephone consultation.

Initial Telephone Consultation
Choosing the right counsellor and one you can trust is really important. To help you decide, I offer a free 30 minute initial telephone consultation where we can talk about what you are looking for from therapy. I can explain how I work and answer any questions you may have so that you can decide if I am the right fit to offer the support you need.
If you decide to go ahead with counselling, we meet for the first session and then if you would like to continue having sessions we regularly review to see how things are going and whether more sessions would be helpful to you. Counselling is always your choice and you can always stop counselling at any time.
