About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor in SE London. I feel passionate about the transformative affects of counselling. I provide you with a confidential, non-judgmental space and offer a warm, and supportive relationship in which you can explore your issues.
I am a Person Centred counsellor and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I abide by the BACP Ethical guidelines.
I offer a safe and confidential space to talk – where I will listen to you without judgement in a valuing and accepting environment. It is an opportunity for us to build a relationship based on trust and I will support you. Together we work to find solutions to improve your emotional wellbeing and problems of life issues. I will work with you as a unique individual.
The benefits of counselling will increase self-awareness and gain an understanding of your personal relationships. It can boost your trust in yourself and diminish feelings of anger, guilt, insecurity, or defensiveness. You take the lead in discussing your problems, and I will accompany you on this journey without judgment, giving you control over what is discussed in therapy regardless of your ethnicity, class, sexuality or gender.
I have worked with a diverse group of clients who have experienced a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression and coping with the challenges of everyday life. I have seen the great difference therapy has made to the lives and outlook of many clients.
It is one-to-one to counselling. The number of sessions available is for us to agree on - you may opt to have a set number of sessions or work open ended. I currently have availability during the day on Monday and Tuesday between 10 and 2pm.
