About me and my therapy practice
Your wellbeing is important to me. I am here to support you to explore what’s going on for you and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where you can develop a greater self awareness and through that strengthen your confidence to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I do this by listening to you without judgement in a valuing and accepting environment. It is an opportunity for us to build a relationship based on trust. Together we work to find solutions to improve your emotional wellbeing. I will work with you as a unique individual.
The benefits of counselling will increase self-awareness and gain an understanding of your personal relationships. It can boost your trust in yourself and diminish feelings of anger, guilt, insecurity, or defensiveness. You take the lead in discussing your problems, and I will accompany you on this journey without judgment, giving you control over what is discussed in therapy regardless of your ethnicity, class, sexuality or gender.
I have worked with a diverse group of clients who have experienced a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression and coping with the challenges of everyday life. I have seen the great difference therapy has made to the lives and outlook of many clients.
It is one-to-one to counselling. The number of sessions available is for us to agree on - you may opt to have a set number of sessions or work open ended. I currently have availability during the day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm. Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 5.30 and 8.30pm
I offer face to face counselling, telephone and online (zoom or Facetime) support.
