About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative counsellor having completed an FdSc in counselling through the University of Bristol. I am a registered member of the BACP. My specialities are Trauma and addictions and I have extensive experience in both of these.
My basic therapeutic approach is person-centred but I integrate elements of other approaches including CBT and Gestalt therapy to best suit the needs of my clients and to enable them to reach solutions to their issues.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important aspect of counselling and is paramount to helping resolve client concerns. I aim to offer a confidential and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their difficulties and to support them to find solutions. I have sessions available on Monday mornings and evenings, Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Friday evenings.
