I aim to work within the working week. However, I know that this is not always possible, and many of my clients have appointments outside the regular 9-5 work-day.
Evening appointments can be arranged through email, or by free phone consultation.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling as though your mental and emotional well-being isn't good at present? Do you feel worried and/or fearful? Are you experiencing relationship problems, or do you feel alone with no one to share your difficulties with? Are you experiencing concerns such as bereavement or loss of a relationship? Have you experienced traumatic events? Have you experienced childhood abuse or neglect? Or, are you a victim of domestic violence? Therapy can help in the above and more.
Therapy can help you move beyond the limitations and hurts of the past. Not only am I a very experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, I also bring a genuine wealth of life-experience to therapy. And, as a PhD researcher I am also informed by current treatment options. Also, my experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, and as a Realization Process teacher, means I have additional therapeutic options to bring. I regularly incorporate mindfulness and embodiment exercises into therapy. My various training in countless psychotherapy disciplines and my extensive meditation and yoga training provide an evolving yet complete tool-kit from which to help calm the mind and move beyond emotional and mental pain.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and hope to use my experience to help you find greater well-being and to optimise your life in all ways. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to reach out. I am nonjudgmental - I do not discriminate, and am available to all who wish to take this brave step forwards.
My approach to therapy is based solely on the uniqueness of the client. I am here to help you and will be incredibly interested in you and your concerns. I am a highly trained integrative relational psychotherapist and supervisor, but I am only successful in my approach because I see the person behind the theory.
My approach can mainly consists of listening, but it can also be highly interactive in the way in which a client and I attend to specific concerns. I am trained in depth psychotherapy and transpersonal approaches, but these influences serve as background awareness, influencing the ways in which I perceive your healing journey. Dream diaries, regression etc are not usually applied within my approach at all.
Therapy can also be driven by practical applications such as cognitive, behavioural and more coaching related ways of working. I really see no problem in using anything and everything to help you transcend the limitations and concerns which are currently affecting you.
And for those who are open to it, therapy can involve embodiment exercises and meditative approaches. I have trained for four years post graduate in an approach called Realization Process. And I have also conducted my own research is on the integration of nonduality within psychotherapy.
