About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Nicki and I’m a fully qualified counsellor and holistic therapist. I am married with grown up children.
I am passionate about the various therapies I work with, and enjoy meeting both new and regular clients. One thing I love about the work I do is that no two days are the same.
In addition to my therapy work, I have worked in book keeping for many years, which I feel keeps me grounded in daily life.
Starting therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living your best life possible, no matter what challenges you may be facing. Through therapy, you can change self-destructive behaviour and habits, resolve painful feelings, improve your relationships, and much more.
Life can occasionally seem confusing and difficult and you know you need someone to talk to. Sometimes friends or family aren't enough to provide you with the support and empathic understanding you really need; that's where counselling can help enormously.

The core purpose of Person-Centred Counselling is to facilitate your ability to develop personally and fulfill your potential. I believe that everyone is different, therefore, everyone’s view of their world, and ability to manage it, should be trusted.I can help you by offering you a safe and confidential space to reflect and locate those feelings which are making life hard. I will offer you empathy as you explore and speak freely what this means for you. I will offer you trust and honesty and will not judge you in any way. I will honour who you are and support the choices and changes which will help you become the best version of yourself and find some peace and calm in your life restoring your sense of well being.
My role is to help you learn more about yourself and be your mirror as you look to find your truth. I will stay alongside and observe, reflect and re-frame what is happening for you so that you can become more aware of who you are and understand yourself more which will help you in your search to find balance and harmony.
