My working hours are: Mon – Thursday 9am – 4pm.

About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in working with LGBTQ+ clients and those who have always felt ‘different’ in some way.

You might be looking for help because you are experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, difficulties making decisions or setting boundaries. It might seem like you have too many overwhelming feelings, or rarely any feelings at all. Maybe it seems like you’re getting in your own way and that you are frustratingly repeating the same unhelpful patterns and ways of coping which you know don't work. You're ready to try something new but you don't really know where to start.

I can support you to better understand why things are the way they are and what might help, so you can start to overcome your challenges and live a more fulfilling life.

Practice description

I will explore your experiences with you and use my knowledge of attachment, self-compassion and the neurobiology of trauma, along with insights and hope from my lived experience, to help you better know, understand and accept yourself. I aim to create a welcoming space where you feel safe and able to be seen, so you can enjoy a better relationship with yourself and others.

We might be a good fit if:

You value a compassionate approach, which can also be gently challenging.

You want a down-to-earth therapist, who will be real with you. You don’t like long silences or cold, clinical therapists.

Your identity and experiences make you worry that most therapists out there wouldn’t get you. The issue you’re coming to therapy with might not be about your identity but you still don’t want to have to spend your session time educating your therapist about it.

You would like a therapist who is more interested in what happened to you than what’s wrong with you.

You are ready to try something new and are aware therapy can take work and time.
