About me and my therapy practice

I have over 10 years of experience as a qualified counsellor. I have worked within different settings providing both long and short term counselling to adults over the age of 18 years old.

I take an integrative approach which means that I adapt my therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs and requirements of each person. My approach integrates Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and mindfulness.

This allows me to be flexible as I consider your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs

I am also a Complex Trauma Certified Practitioner.

Practice description

Our upbringing, cultural and significant life events can affect the way we view ourselves and our relationship with others.

Seeking help and support isn't always easy.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential space where you are accepted and heard.

This process will enable you to better understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviour as you work toward discovering what might help you to feel more satisfied with your life.

I am committed to building a meaningful therapeutic relationship with you. In this relationship you are offered genuine empathy and professional support as you explore what you are thinking and feeling about yourself and your situation. This relationship will be a collaboration between us which I believe is important to support you to feel more comfortable, at ease, to go at your own pace and to be empowered to make your own choice.

Whatever your reason for being here, I am glad that you are here.
