About me and my therapy practice
Whatever the issues you are struggling with, my approach to counselling means giving you space to talk it through.
It is a place of emotional safety, outside of everyday life, and provides an opportunity to reflect on difficulties and support you in looking at ways of making them better.
Putting difficult emotions into words can be a very powerful, moving and healing experience.
Counselling involves being listened to in a way that is often not possible with friends and family. It offers the opportunity to explore experiences and feelings which may have been bottled up for a long time.
Our sessions will offer you the time and space for reflection and will be non-judgemental and accepting.
I am a fully qualified, person-centred counsellor working with adults and young people. I work with a range of people of different ages and from different walks of life. My experience to date has included working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, people who are full-time carers, people undergoing workplace stress, people who are experiencing relationship difficulties and people with anxiety and depression.
