About me and my therapy practice

I can provide either one off sessions, regular weekly/ monthly sessions.

The pause which we take away from everyday life with a trained counsellor is the breath of fresh air we need when faced with obstacles or emotions which can become overwhelming.

Being outside and close to nature gives us the chance to explore our own cycles and challenges in a creative way.

The beautiful Cotswolds provide the setting for gentle paced walks and nurturing conversation, I have a number of tried and trusted routes to suit all abilities with a selection of privacy spots to have deeper connection moments.

Practice description

Location

Our sessions will be based in the beautiful, twice thankful village of Upper Slaughter, In Gloucestershire.

There is a choice of country hotels close by to freshen up and perhaps indulge in a cream tea should you wish, before you go back to everyday life, you could make your therapy a self-care day.

The Route

We have an hour together; we can walk for all of it or some of it.

I have a number of different routes which can be adapted, we might find we stay longer at a certain point having found something interesting to observe which feels relevant.

We can be easy with our time, you set the pace and there are plenty of benches if you choose to sit peacefully together for a spell.

What to bring/wear

Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle.

Whatever the weather

I have exclusive use of the quaint village hall which offers a private safe haven to continue a session during inclement weather, it also provides facilities such as a loo and if needed a comforting cuppa.

During the autumn/winter months also a warm fire and a cosy blanket.

My first session

Gently, allowing you to unfurl as you wish to.
