About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I work with individuals and couples, offering short-term, longer-term and open-ended counselling.

I offer a confidential, safe, respectful and supportive space to help you explore and address your concerns. I believe that counselling is about listening to you without judgement and helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings in order to see things - and yourself - in a different light.

If you wish to find out more about my therapy practice and approach, please click on my website.

Practice description

I am currently working face to face as well as online.  My practice is based in a quiet, residential street between Kensal Rise and Kensal Green with good access by public transport.  I am within easy reach from Queens Park, North Kensington, Notting Hill and West Hampstead.

I also work internationally online.

I am an integrative therapist, which means that I have trained in a number of different theories.  I qualified in 2011 and I keep up to date with advances in psychotherapy and counselling as part of my practice.

I completed a year's training at the NAOS Institute in Relationship Psychotherapy in 2016 and have been working with couples ever since.  I am able to work with a range of issues and I offer regular weekly therapy or intensive weekends.  Please look at the section entitled Couples on my website in order to find out more information about the range of Couples Counselling that I can offer.

Our first session is a good way for me to assess your needs and for you to get a sense of whether you might feel comfortable working with me.  I will ask you a number of questions about yourself and why you have come to therapy now, but there will also be time for you to ask me about how I work.
