About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist with BACP. Having worked professionally with both adults and young people and have completed a Masters Degree in Counselling and psychotherapy. I am accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Since becoming a fully-qualified therapist I have helped with a number of problems such as anger, bereavement, relationship issues, stress, anxiety and panic attacks, trauma, low self-esteem, family breakdown, depression and sexual orientation. I can help you to explore what is causing you to feel and behave the way you do, making connections with how past events may be affecting your present life and identify any unhelpful patterns that are preventing you from living a more fulfilling life.
As well as private work with adults and children I presently also work in schools and I have a number of year’s experience of working with children and young people having been a School Counsellor in some of the leading grammar schools in Northern Ireland as well as in secondary and integrated schools. I have worked on a short, medium and long term basis with young people and have taken part in delivering group work.
