There is currently availability within my practice to see clients. My working hours are 8.30am to 5.30 Tuesday to Friday. With prior arrangement some availability on Saturday mornings.
About me and my therapy practice
I am trained professional person-centered therapist. We will work together to help find your own solutions, this could be making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with problems. In addition I also offer solution-focussed therapy and CBT psycho-educational techniques where appropriate or helpful to a client. I find this blend works well with clients and offers a therapeutic and practical toolkit to wellness.
Each client will be treated with dignity and respect. As a professional therapist I will be impartial, understanding and listen to you without judgement. I shall help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, so you are able to develop a better understanding of yourself.
Most importantly in my practice the uniqueness of the person is valued and upheld.
If helpful and supportive to the client I will offer solution focussed therapy and CBT techniques in an unobtrusive way.
My first session
This initial 30 minute session would be important to make sure you feel safe and comfortable working with me and my way of working. Our relationship is very important if we are to work effectively together, you should feel safe. Following on from this, our sessions will last 50 minutes.
