About me and my therapy practice
For most people is can be difficult and uncomfortable to ask for help or support, but for most of us there will be times in our lives when we all feel we need it. Whoever we are, whatever our circumstances, sometimes life can be a very real struggle that we do not always feel we can sort out alone. Having the opportunity to share this, be listened to and understood without being judged can be the first step towards making sense of things and finding answers.
Throughout my professional life I have worked in roles where the priority and focus are people, encouraging them to discover what their needs are and to help them try to achieve them. I have realised as a Counsellor that I can offer something similar whether it is anxiety, loss, trauma or other distressing difficulties.
What matters is you! what I can offer is a friendly safe environment that is comfortable to build a trusting and confidential relationship. In your own time you can begin to explore the challenges you are facing, perhaps understanding how you as an individual work and your needs and recognising changes you may want to make for yourself and your life and how to support them.
