About me and my therapy practice
I am trained in the humanistic model of counselling, ensuring I keep the client at the centre of the therapy, offering confidentiality and empathy, with no judgement.
I am dual trained as an Occupational therapist, which allows me to blend both professional modalities to provide a unique approach to therapy. I am able to offer a practical and psycho-educational emphasis to therapy where appropriate, whilst providing the opportunity to explore emotional distress and personal growth in a safe environment.
I have over 20 years experience working with people with complex physical and psychological issues, and have the skills to support clients suffering with the effects of trauma, chronic pain, chronic fatigue and mild brain injury.
I have worked with military personnel for over 20 years, gaining experience in working with the unique experiences and needs of both serving and veteran personnel.
