About me and my therapy practice
I work integratively using Person centred and CBT. I provide Walk & Talk Therapy for those who prefer the freedom of the outdoors. Online and Telephone Counselling.
Walk and Talk is based on traditional therapy concepts this type of therapy can be very rewarding for people of all ages and mobility types as the sessions are conducted at the clients pace and can include rest spots to enjoy the view and contemplate. enhanced recall
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of behavioral therapy that helps people problem-solve. CBT also reveals the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings, and the behaviors that follow. Through CBT, people learn that their perceptions directly influence how they respond to specific situations. In other words, a person’s thought process informs their behaviors and actions.

Hello and thank you for dropping by. My name is Kate and I am a qualified, BACP registered ( 390829 ) Integrative Counsellor offering 'Person Centred' and 'Cognitive Behavioural Therapy' (CBT)
I have a private practice based in Bolton. I offer online and telephone counselling both of which are available for wherever you are in the UK and I also offer 'Walk and Talk' therapy throughout Manchester and Bolton.

My first session
All first sessions will take place over the phone or via zoom. We will use this time to complete an assessment form and take down some essential details. And also discuss what it is you would like to gain from Counselling/Therapy and which form of Therapy would be best suited to your needs
For Walk & Talk clients the first session is usually conducted over the phone or via zoom where all paperwork, a contract and agreements about confidentiality and weather conditions can be discussed. Wet and cold weather usually won't deter your counsellor however, it is the client's decision at the end of the day. Sessions can be rearranged or swapped over to phone or Zoom if preferred.
