Rowlands Gill NE39
Sessions from £40.00

  • Flexible hours available

I am available for new enquiries in August 2024.

I have availability at different times throughout the week, Monday to Friday, including evenings.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer individual counselling for adults within an outdoor room, in a garden setting, surrounded by nature. Maybe being in this location will enable you to be comfortable to explore your questions about your life, with me alongside? Sessions are usually face to face, Zoom and telephone are options.

Have you lost someone or an aspect of your life that was important to you? As you move forward through life do you feel lost, left behind or hidden under all the roles you play? Are you curious to explore who you are now, to re-connect with your self in a space where I offer interest in, and acceptance of you, no judgement or demands?

I understand, taking that first step to reach out, can feel the most difficult. Maybe now is the time to take time for you? I seek to meet you and relate to you where you are at in your life, as you explore what is causing or may have caused you distress. I endeavour to use and offer my knowledge and resources for your insight and wellbeing as you grow your self-understanding, self-compassion and choices.

I am qualified in counselling and psychotherapy. I practise as an integrative therapist, which means I can take different approaches to therapy, based on your individual needs and goals.

I have been in practice for over five years having retrained after working for over 20 years in public service. I have worked alongside clients experiencing a wide range of issues whilst providing counselling in a GP practice, through a charity, employee assistance programmes and privately. I have a life-long interest in and respect for our natural world and our interconnectedness.

Practice description

My sessions last 60 minutes and usually happen on a weekly basis. I have availability at different times throughout the week, including evenings. My room is warm, with free parking outside and located five minutes from the bus stops.

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, for you to share what brings you to counselling, your goal and for us to think together if we will continue to meet on a regular basis.

If you are interested in working with me, contact me by email and we can arrange that initial appointment.
