I chose counselling as a career because I know anyone can feel grief, loss, sad or frightened at some point in their life. You may be feeling overwhelmed by recent or past events, or worried by you own behaviour. Perhaps you are feeling unsure about your relationships with other people.
It can feel lonely and hopeless to face difficult experiences without someone to truly confide in, yet it can be especially hard to talk about our feelings and thoughts with the people we are closest to. Our relationships with other people can be wonderful and supportive, but they can also be complicated and unhappy.
Perhaps you simply need some time and space to work out how best to manage things and find a way forward, so that you can feel better in yourself. But who can you safely talk to when you feel distressed and how can you find someone reliable, professional and experienced? This is where I may be able to help.
Through years of research in this field, I have gained great faith in the counselling relationship. My aim is to provide a safe haven for you to explore your concerns in a confidential environment. I will do my best to help you manage your emotions and behaviour, and support you in gaining a better understanding of yourself and your relationships. The main aim is to help you find a way forward in your life that is consistent with your values and aspirations.
About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in young people, adults, victim support and bereavement counselling. I am also a member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and provide each client with an opportunity to explore and express themselves confidentially, with a skilled and supportive listener.

My hours of business are flexible, and I offer sessions face-to-face or alternatively Online or Phone.
