About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified therapist with a degree in Person-Centred Counselling. I offer confidential and open-ended sessions in the privacy of my own home, situated just a 5 minute walk from High Barnet station. I chose Counselling as a career because I know anyone can feel lost, confused, sad or frightened at some point in their life. You maybe feeling overwhelmed by recent or past events, or worried by your own behaviour. Perhaps you are feeling unsure about your relationships with other people.
It can feel lonely and hopeless to face difficult experiences without someone to truly confide in, yet it can be especially hard to talk about feelings and thoughts with the people we are closest to. Our relationships with other people can be wonderful and supportive, but they can also be complicated and unhappy.
Perhaps you simply need some time and space to work out how best to manage things and find a way forward, so that you feel better in yourself. But who can you safely talk to when you feel distressed, and how can you find someone reliable, professional and experienced? This is where I may be able to help.
Through years of research in this field I have gained great faith in the counselling relationship. My aim is to provide a safe haven for you to explore your concerns in a confidential environment. I will do my best to help you manage your emotions and behaviour, and support you in gaining a better understanding of yourself and your relationships. The main aim is to help you find a way forward in your life that is consistent with your values and aspirations.
