About me and my therapy practice

Do you sometimes feel unheard or are going through something you think no one will understand? I can help you getting through these situations, help you understand your thoughts and feelings and together we can get you to where you’d like to be.

As a practicing British Muslim, I understand that seeking counselling can be daunting. I am able to understand and adapt to various backgrounds, beliefs and upbringings. Counselling in this form allows the individual an opportunity to share their experiences.

For an effective therapy experience, I offer a warm, comfortable, none judgemental  and most importantly a safe environment to give you a chance to openly talk about you and your experiences. I will never tell you what to do, I will listen to you with empathy and together we can work in achieving your goals.

Practice description

As an integrative counsellor knowing not one method suits all, I can combine ideas and insights from different counselling theories ordering me to tailor my skills into a counselling session which meet the needs of the individual.

I work face to face or via zoom depending on personal preference.

My first session

I understand some may not exactly know what counselling is all about, our first session is to help you feel comfortable in your settings, this is your space to ask anything you need to in order to move forward.

You can ask any questions related to counselling to see if you are comfortable in your settings and around myself.

If you are happy and wish to continue with your counselling journey, we won’t waste any more time and start our first session.

If after the first session you are happy and wish to carry on, we will book you in for your second session at a time and day suitable for us.
