About me and my therapy practice
Therapy can be a powerful tool for dealing with life’s challenges, working through difficult emotions and exploring what matters most to you. You may have a lot on your plate and need somewhere to offload and forge a way forward or you may want support in moving through a sense of stuckness and difficulty. I work with people dealing with all kinds of life stressors, including a lack of direction and purpose, confidence and self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns.
As an integrative therapist, I am trained in a range of evidence-based approaches. This means that I can bring different perspectives and tools to the conversation, but most importantly, I aim to create a nurturing space for self-discovery.
Some of the approaches integrated into my practice are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking, a Person-centred approach to create a non-judgemental and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Psychodynamic Therapy to explore how your early experiences influence current ways of relating and behaving and Existential Therapy to help you accept what is outside your control and foster a sense of agency, meaning and purpose in life.
