About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Lindsey. I am a fully qualified Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and I am also a lecturer in Counselling. I work in an integrative way, which means that I can draw from different models of therapy depending on your unique needs and wishes. I am dedicated to using an individually tailored approach for each client, which can have a positive impact on a person’s counselling experience and increase the chance of beneficial effects.

I offer a warm, safe, non-judgemental space to help you explore any issues you may have, be they current or past. Whatever it is you are facing, I can offer professional and emotional support and help you through difficult times.

Practice description

I am proficient in the treatment of a wide range of issues that could manifest as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, panic attacks, stress etc. I have a particular depth of experience working with emotional issues that are caused by domestic abuse.

I believe that supervision is a supportive relationship built from trust and mutual respect. The supervision space is a place for reflection and exploration, creating an environment where you can develop confidence and creativity, where you will feel supported, valued and heard. Supervision can be a relationship where we from each other and adapts as the relationship and your experience develops.

I am also a counselling lecturer and feel that this experience can increase my effectiveness as a clinical supervisor, particularly for trainee counsellors.

Practice description

It is important for you to find the right Supervisor to support you in your work, as such I offer a free initial 15 minute phone call.

I offer concessions to trainee counsellors seeking supervision for their placement hours.

Prices:

£60 per 90 minute session for qualified therapists. £50 per 90 minute session for trainee counsellors.
