A qualified, accredited and experienced counsellor, manager and supervisor. 

My roots are in the psychodynamic approach, having qualified with a Masters in Psychodynamic Counselling in 2006 (Birkbeck) However I will draw from other approaches and learnings, if appropriate, and always work with the client/supervisee in front of me.

I have over 20 years experience of working therapeutically with a diverse range of clients, including young people, young adults, children, families, and often with clients who might otherwise be unable to afford personal therapy. 

I have extensive experience in therapeutic and managerial roles in higher education settings. Prior to this, I worked in voluntary agencies such as Brook Young People's Services and PACE (an LGBTQ+ charity)

I believe passionately in social and environmental justice, and these values will inform my work.

Our first session, and subsequent sessions, will be 50 minutes. 

We can meet initially to discuss requirements of supervision, including therapeutic approach and compatability, working environment, and to agree a therapeutic contract. 

As this is an exploratory session and may or may not lead to an ongoing contract, I offer this at a reduced fee of £35
