I generally work between 11 and 6.30 Monday to Thursday with the occasional supervision on Friday,  though I can sometimes offer an earlier or later time.

About me and my therapy practice

I did a 5 year training on the Cambridge LEA and University of Cambridge BCE course, and later a year’s Supervision Training, and a short course in CBT at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation. I have over 30 years experience as an integrative therapist and clinical supervisor in Cambridge and Suffolk, and have worked with a wide range of therapists and trainees.

I  see supervision  as a partnership of colleagues, in which we work together to explore my supervisee's relationship with their clients, as well as any issues that the supervisee finds it helpful to explore. We also pay attention to the supervisory relationship and review it from time to time, as well as exploring any parallel processes with therapy that arise.

For 8 years I was co-administrator  of the Talking Therapies Inn in Cambridge, and as a Counselling Trainer I have supervised many  trainees.  I was group supervisor for Drinksense Cambridge for many years. I also work as a volunteer with refugees, currently from Iraq.

I believe in the value of ongoing training and CPD, and for my own practice as a therapist and supervisor I have both group and individual (fortnightly ) supervision.  The varied experience I have described above, in my view,  enhances my ability to work with a range of practitioners and informs my work as a supervisor.
