Availability

My available hours are:

Monday to Thursday 5pm to 8pm

Friday 2pm to 6pm

I will usually take time off three times a year: one week in Easter, four weeks in August and three weeks during Christmas and the New Year. I will normally honour bank holidays.

Sessions last 50 minutes, usually taking place on a weekly basis. The cost per session is £45. I also provide a limited number of spaces for those on low-income, students or pensioners; please contact me to enquiry about availability.

An initial assessment session may last up to two hours or run over two sessions. After the initial assessment session, further sessions require pre-booking and payment where cancellations are accepted 24 hours in advance.

I accept payment in cash, by card or by bank transfer.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) for adults and young people, informed in neurodiversity. I possess a versatile and holistic approach which enables me to incorporate techniques and knowledge from the psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, and systemic approaches. This combination allows for a highly personalized and effective therapeutic experience, as I can adapt my approach based on your unique circumstances and goals.

My lived experience of adversity and mental health challenges, makes me an extremely empathic non-judgemental clinician. I believe in the individuals growth and healing capacity through therapeutic interventions. I can emphatically say that I have found my job to by my calling, my vocation and my passion.

As my client you will benefit from a combination of highly acquired professional and personal experience, with an up-to-date knowledge to facilitate you with the tools in your journey. Everyone's journey to relief and recovery from distress is unique. It's essential to find strategies and resources that work best for you.

You don't have to go through distress alone, and there is support available to help you navigate challenging times and move towards finding meaning in life, towards emotional healing and well-being.

Practice description

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural Counselling and Psychotherapy).

In my private mental health practice, I offer a range of services to address various mental health needs and concerns encompassing a wide array of mental health specialist areas of provision:

Individual Therapy: One-on-one counselling or therapy sessions to address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and personal growth.

Child and Adolescent Therapy: A counselling service tailored to children and adolescents dealing with issues such as behavioural problems, school-related challenges, emotional regulation, ASD (autism) / ADHD, and family issues.

Group Therapy: Therapy sessions conducted with a group of individuals who share similar concerns or goals, such as support groups for adults and young people struggling with OCD and anxiety; and for parents through the delivery of the FLASH and NVR programmes.

Teletherapy and Online Counselling: Offering counselling services via secure online platforms to increase accessibility and convenience for clients.

My first session

An initial assessment session will be charged £60 and it can last up to two hours.

After the initial assessment, the length of treatment and the number of sessions will be discussed and agreed collaboratively.

Pre-booking and payment for each individual session - at a cost of £45, is required and cancellations accepted 24 hours in advance.

Fees for long-term therapeutic interventions can be reviewed on an individual basis.
