Availability

I offer in person session's on Wednesdays from 3-8pm. The rest of the week I work online- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

I have no availability on Fridays.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Person- centred /Humanistic Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Counselling Trainer. I am a fully accredited and registered counsellor with the BACP. I have 25 years’ experience in private practice offering long and short term work with clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

I have worked as a counsellor in NHS primary care for 2 years, over 10 years in further education colleges and 15 years with EAP’s. I have managed Mind in Haringey Counselling Service and Hearthstone Domestic Violence Advice and Support Centre in Haringey. I currently work as a senior counsellor and clinical supervisor at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) and a individual and group supervisor at Woman’s Trust. I also have experience of working with people employed in TV and theatre.

My approach

My approach to counselling is underpinned by the Person-centred approach, which is a way of working based on personal growth and development; and holds a central belief that we have within ourselves the drive to develop to our best potential. My aim is to provide a safe environment and a therapeutic relationship where clients can be fully heard, explore issues whether related to past or present life experiences and to provide an opportunity to understand their thoughts and feelings. I am also open to working creatively with use of various art materials.
