About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Maureen Poland and I have been a qualified counsellor since 1995. I am committed to helping people who have painful issues in their lives and want things to change. I offer a safe, confidential environment where we can talk together in complete privacy allowing you to raise anything that is causing you concern. These may be situations that go a long way back but still cause you heartache or there may be more recent issues. Whatever the case, the resulting factors can often be seen in depression, anxiety and stress. My aim would be to work alongside you in looking at your concerns and explore ways to bring about change to improve your wellbeing. This could mean that you experience a better quality of life than what you have known for some time. I work with individuals, couples and also the employees of companies who offer counselling for their staff. I have experience in dealing with the different areas which you will find listed below.
