I am fully qualified and experienced and work with adults, children and adolescents.

I work privately & take independent referrals & via the NHS.

I use a collaborative integrated approach to achieve therapeutic change.

Practice description

Sessions can be in a variety of different settings

This is normally discussed during your FREE initial phone session.

Examples are, by phone, via email, for employees at work, for your family or child at home or in a suitable venue. For your school, in your local surgery, we find a suitable and safe space to work together confidentially.

My first session

Our first contact:

How it works?

You would normally call or text the confidential appointment helpline number to arrange your first contact call.

This is a FREE arranged appointment on an agreeable day and at a suitable time for us both, it's a time for you to speak with me and to get an insight into how I work, it's a chance for you to ask any questions and decide for yourself if I am the right therapist for your needs, whether the therapy is for you as an individual, as part of a couple or for your family or your child.

This session also allows me a little time to try to understand your needs and manage your counselling expectations.

I offer this FREE 20 minute informal chat to all new enquiries.

(This can also be done by way of text chat if speaking on the phone causes any anxiety)

Taking this time also allows me to gather some basic information regarding your requirements.

We are then both able to decide if we feel compatable and a good match to work together.

This session is completely FREE of charge, it lasts around 20 minutes and allows you the opportunity to speak safely, confidentially and openly without any obligation to proceed further.

Following this first contact you can then:

Book an appointment

Take time to think about it

Or try another therapist

I firmly believe in you being in complete control and taking this first step is a step towards making positive life changes.

I understand it can be a bit stressful to pluck up the courage to pick up the phone but rest assured you are making the first positive steps towards positive change, you are turning the page to a new chapter in your life.
