About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP accredited integrative psychotherapist, with over a decade of clinical experience in counselling and psychotherapy, and twenty years' experience in the field of autism. I have worked therapeutically in the NHS, state, voluntary and private sectors with young autistic people and their families. I specialise in the support of the parents of neurodiverse children and young people. Please visit my website for full details www.lucychantrey.co.uk
You might be feeling overwhelmed by daily life and not know where to turn for a confidential, experienced, non-judgmental listening ear, or you may want help and guidance in how best to support your young person, and overall family life.
I work predominantly online, although can offer in person sessions at my practice in Ruthin, NE Wales LL15.
Practice description
I specialise in the psychotherapeutic support of the parents and carers of neurodiverse children / young people pre and post diagnosis. As well as having lived experience of autism parenting, I have written and researched extensively around the lived experiences of the parents of autistic girls. The support that I offer encompasses both parental mental wellbeing and offering advice and guidance, whether from first suspicions that your child might be autistic, through the journey to diagnosis, with life in-between and beyond.
