About me and my therapy practice

Working in the challenging field of addiction for over 20 years and successfully counselling many people into recovery, I passionately believe that individuals have the inner resources to overcome their addictions and dependencies. I have not only witnessed this in others but have also overcome my own drug and alcohol addiction. Having underwent 6 months intensive rehab, I'm now over 26 years clean and sober and consider my main strength as working with a deep passion and belief.

Practice description

I work primarily from the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) stance along with Transactional Analysis (TA).

I also offer psycho-educational sessions looking at addiction and the brain, relapse prevention, reframing, how to deal with cravings and the like.

My first session is exploring what brings you to therapy, how you feel about it and what can be done about it.
