About me and my therapy practice
Hello there, I'm a qualified and very experienced BACP integrative counsellor helping people in Maidenhead, Windsor and surrounding areas. For online counselling, I can work further afield.
I offer you warmth, trustworthiness, acceptance and compassion in a welcoming, safe and confidential space so you can feel really heard, understood and accepted to help you with whatever is on your mind and with your feelings.. We go at your pace, you lead the way.
As a trained, qualified and experienced integrative counsellor, I use a number of particular ways of counselling to best understand and to offer help to my clients.
I have a BSc Hons degree, a two-year PGDip Diploma and two one-year certificate course awards in counselling. I have worked as a counsellor since 2016.
I am registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and also continue my learning to develop professionally.
I work with a very wide diversity of clients privately.
Previously, I also provided counselling through a counselling agency and at a local Homeless Project, helping people who may be homeless or in temporary accommodation and perhaps have alcohol/drug addictions.
Additionally, I also worked as a school counsellor and as a college counsellor, as well as being a tutor in counselling at a local college.
Practice description
My aim is to understand you and what you want to talk about, to help you find your own way forward in whatever you are going through and to accompany you on that personal journey.
I offer online and in-person (face to face) counselling, as well as telephone counselling.
My first session
Initially, I suggest getting in contact by email, by using the form on my website or through my BACP directory listing.
I can then contact you by email or by telephone, if you can suggest a suitable day and time for me to call.
A telephone call with you would be a friendly, easy-going, no-obligation chat to find out a bit more about your requirements and to give you more of an idea about what I can offer as a counsellor.
If this all seems fine with you, I can offer you a free, no-obligation 30 minute session online, through a meeting app (such as Zoom or Teams). If you prefer, we can do this by telephone. This is to help you decide if counselling with me is right for you.
If you are all fine with that and wish to continue with a session, we can then discuss and agree a suitable appointment time.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and experienced counselling supervisor, offering a warm, encouraging, compassionate working alliance with counsellors to help support them in their practice.
I work with counsellors at different stages in their personal and professional development - from trainee counsellors through to experienced and qualified ones, in different therapeutic contexts and environments, such as within agencies, on training courses, within organisations and in private practice.
I work within the Integrative and Person Centred approaches.
Practice description
My priority is ensuring supervision is supportive, friendly and understanding of where you are with your client practice and with your personal and professional development.
I offer empathy, compassion and acceptance in sessions to help us develop a strong and positive working alliance that works for you and continues to meet your changing needs.
I work within the BACP ethical framework, so supporting you in your ethical practice is integral to our time together.
My first session
I suggest firstly we have a no-obligation telephone chat to talk about what your needs from supervision would be and how I might be of help to you. If email suits you better we can chat like that instead.
We can then have a further online chat (on Zoom or Teams) for free if this is something you might find helpful in deciding whether you might like a supervision session.
The initial phone call, possible online chat and first session help us both to work out what your supervisory needs might be, to understand how we might work together and to define what our ways of working would be so that you feel you are getting what you need from sessions, and to ensure we are working ethically, for your benefit and for your clients.
