About me and my therapy practice

At times, life presents challenges that as individuals you may find overwhelming, you may feel unsure of what is happening internally and externally around you. On top of that, you may feel that you just cannot find the words to emotionally express yourself.

As an Integrative Adult, Child and Adolescent Counsellor, I offer a non-judgmental space where we can explore these feelings through talk therapy, play or creative art based therapy.

I use my knowledge from a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist the client in gaining a deeper understanding of their concerns and issues.

As well as working with children, I also provide parenting support. This ranges from helping parents gain a deeper understanding of their child's behaviour and emotional needs, to developing a parent's capacity to reflect on their own responses to their child and how to improve and strengthen the parent-child relationship.

Practice description

I work face to face both within a private practice and walking therapy. North West London Region

I also work online.

Walk and Talk Therapy

In life there are times when we feel stuck, have low mood, trauma or suffer with grief and loss. I provide a safe, open and gentle space for you to connect with nature and explore ways to support your healing.

As a Walk and Talk therapist I work holistically with you, I offer a different experience than sitting in a clinical room. The outdoors provides a space where you can explore your inner world whilst walking at your own pace noticing and navigating the natural elements that surround you. As you walk in to the park, breathe in your attention may be drawn to the trees or animals, as I walk alongside you, I will gently encourage you to reflect on who you are in the present and the past.

Being outdoors in the environment can help the body engage in all kinds of visceral and somatic experiences, which are not always possible in the therapy room. Nature can enable deeper understanding and personal growth, as the elements can serve as a beautiful metaphor for past and present challenges that you have experienced.
