About me and my therapy practice
You might be going through a difficult time and struggling to make sense of your emotions and experiences. Or you feel lost, alone, and don't know where to turn, and consider starting therapy.
I am a BACP-accredited therapist. My approach to therapy is individualised, compassionate, and creative. Booking an initial consultation might be daunting and I am here to help. My clients describe me as warm and approachable, someone they could trust and open up about their struggles without fear of judgment. From the first session, I will help you explore your emotions and experiences in a way that feels safe and supportive. Over the course of several sessions, we will work together to manage your anxiety and work through your emotions. We might also do practical exercises that help you feel more grounded and in control of your feelings. My trauma-informed approach involves mindfulness-based stabilisation techniques and visualisation, and is informed by Internal Family System therapy. It can help you regain inner calm and confidence in your abilities to cope and find solutions. At the end of our time together, you will learn much about yourself and how to cope with difficult emotions. The newfound skills and insights will become available to you.
Reflecting on their experience, my clients wrote: "This was the most empathetic therapist I have met to date, and every time I spoke to Anjelika I felt that she was feeling what I was feeling, but able to articulate in words why I was the way that I was, and it made me feel less lonely. We also did exercises to manage my anxiety and work through these emotions. It wasn’t just talking about these emotions, it was doing something practical about it.".
I would love to discuss with you how my experience and expertise could be of benefit to you. Please let me know if you are interested in exploring this further.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

As a healthcare professional with over 30 years of experience in nursing and midwifery, I have always been passionate about helping people. In addition to my background in healthcare, I hold several degrees, including a Master's in Therapeutic Counselling.
My practice focuses on integrative therapy, which means I have a diverse set of skills and knowledge to help my clients, including sandplay therapy, metaphors, focusing, attachment-based, person-centred, Gestalt and emotion-focused approaches. I have experience working with a range of clients, including those who are suicidal and those who are struggling with depression.
Currently, I am practising as an oncology psychotherapist alongside my private practice. I am constantly striving to expand my knowledge and skills, and I have taken several courses to help me do so. Some of the courses I have taken are:
