I am currently not taking any new clients. I shall be unavailable from 9 November 2023 and for the foreseeable future in 2024. This is due to ongoing health concerns. I will update my information as soon as I am able to take on new clients again.

I only work after 2.00pm by special arrangement.

By prior arrangement, I can arrange a face to face appointments with disabled and wheelchair facilities.

Walk and talk by prior arrangement only. I am disabled, so this will be a slow walk on level ground but would particularly suit those with walking difficulties or in wheelchairs.

All sessions last an hour and I have a start time of 9.00am and end time of 1.30pm.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor who works with individual adults, and young people from the age of 13 upwards.

Being an Integrative Counsellor means I practice using a combination of counselling theories and techniques, which I adapt for you as an individual. I offer a safe private environment where you can explore your feelings, emotions, and experiences. Talking about anything completely frankly and confidentially, from your past and present and your plans for the future. This is for people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and ages.

Sometimes life can become overwhelming and things just don’t feel right. Are you troubled by family or personal relationships, social concerns, workplace or employment problems, or simply careworn, overwhelmed, confused, and trying to cope?

I will help guide you in a non-judgemental, and supportive way, to explore what it is you are looking for and to find the strength to discover the changes and solutions you need for your own personal growth.

My first session

Initial First Session:

I believe the rapport between us is central to our relationship and I offer an initial session free of charge and with no further commitment. This will be face to face, online or by telephone and can be anything up to 45 minutes.

This is a space for us to talk about why you are considering counselling and what you would like to work on and look at in greater detail. We can discuss how counselling could work for you and enable you to enrich your life. Importantly, it is a chance for you to consider what working with me will feel like for you and help you decide how you want to move forward.

Talking to a qualified counsellor can really help. It can be tough asking for support and it is really important to find someone you can feel comfortable with. For this reason, I recommend speaking with other counsellors before you make the decision about who you feel is the right person for you to work with.
