About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome,
Life can be complicated, we all have ups and downs but sometimes the hard moments become a struggle and difficult to ignore. We can do a good job of masking "being ok" or "having it all under control" but this isnt always sustainable. If you are feeling anxious, low, or overwhelmed by difficult emotions or situations then Counselling can help.
How I work
As a person-centred counsellor, I’m here to offer you a warm, understanding, and supportive space where you can feel truly comfortable to share your thoughts and feelings. My approach is all about working together in a compassionate and non-judgmental way to help you explore your challenges and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we can navigate these challenges, uncover insights, and work towards creating a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment in your life.
Sometimes, we can feel stuck, whether it’s due to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or other life challenges. I’m here to support you in identifying your goals and working together to build understanding, acceptance, and perspective, helping you take meaningful steps forward.
I have a special passion for supporting women who feel the weight of juggling many roles while trying to hold on to their sense of self. Whether you’re balancing caring for children and parents, navigating relationship challenges, or quietly carrying unspoken trauma, I offer a supportive space for you to explore and reconnect with yourself.
I also support young adults as they navigate the challenges of life after leaving home, whether they’re studying or beginning their journey into independence.
I have experience with a wide range of issues and struggles, but remember, we don’t need to be in distress to benefit from counselling. Perhaps you’re just not feeling like yourself, or you might appreciate having someone independent to truly listen—someone who offers understanding without judgment.
I welcome you to get in touch and have a chat.
