Hello, and welcome to my therapy practice! As a humanistic practitioner, I am committed to creating a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My practice incorporates both Gestalt and Person-Centered approaches to therapy. Gestalt therapy emphasizes the importance of exploring the present moment, and the relationship between the individual and their environment. Through this approach, we can uncover patterns of behavior that may be preventing you from living a more fulfilling life. We can also explore ways to address these patterns and create new ways of interacting with the world around you.

Person-Centered therapy is a client-centered approach that focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship. It emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected. Through this approach, we can work together to develop a deeper understanding of your needs, preferences, and goals. This understanding can then be used to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and desires.

My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help you develop a greater sense of self-awareness, and to help you create the conditions necessary for personal growth and fulfillment. My first session

Each session will last 50 minutes and will provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Before our session, I will send you a client intake form to gather some basic information about you and your reasons for seeking therapy. This information will help me better understand your unique needs and preferences.

Our first session together will be exploratory, focused on getting to know one another and determining whether we are a good fit. This session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process and to share your concerns and goals with me. 

During the session, we will work collaboratively to establish a shared understanding of your needs and goals. I will ask you some questions about your history and experiences, and we will discuss any challenges or obstacles that you are currently facing. We will also discuss any specific concerns or goals that you may have for therapy.

At the end of the session you can decide to continue with therapy or not, my hope is that our session together will provide you with greater clarity and understanding, and will help you determine whether therapy is the right path for you.
