About me and my therapy practice

Welcome. Are you looking for change? Are you seeking a comfortable, non judgmental, private space to be truly heard and understood; to make sense of what governs your daily thoughts, feelings and behaviour?

Perhaps you have lost a loved one, experienced a traumatic event, a difficult relationship, or are looking to understand who you are, how you relate to others and how you experience the world around you.

Together by examining what is and what has been, you can unlock your true life potential.

Practice description

I am trained and qualified to work as an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means that I tailor your therapy to your unique needs, incorporating different therapeutic approaches into a confidential, comfortable and safe environment.

Incorporating different tools and techniques into the `talking therapy can assist in developing a sense of safety or comfort in the therapy room and within our relationship. They can also help to deepen the exploration and understanding of what it is you are bringing to the therapy.

With a deeply attentive, honest and open approach I will seek to work collaboratively with you in order to understand what brings you to therapy, what you would like to achieve and what changes you may be looking to make. By hearing from you about your unique experiences and perspectives, we can together understand what governs your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, whilst finding ways in which the changes you want, may be achieved.

My first session

The first session will enable you to give me information about what your needs, hopes and expectations are and to ask any questions that may help you decide whether you feel I am the right therapist for you.

I will also ask questions to help me understand what it is you are wanting from the therapy, what previous experience of therapy you may have, and what you may find helpful or unhelpful.

It is also important that I learn from you, how to help you feel comfortable in our sessions and how we can maintain this together.

There is no expectation that you will continue sessions if I or the space I work in, does not feel right for you.
