About me and my therapy practice

Feeling hopeless, lost or stuck repeating the same unhappy patterns?

I work as Counsellor with people like you who are struggling and ready for change by helping them get to know themselves at a whole new depth.

Together, we strive to work through any foggy and confusing emotions you’re feeling to work out what’s really going on for you, whether that’s at home, in your relationships or at work.

We’ll then use that knowledge to work out what you really want out of therapy, so we keep our sessions moving in a direction that’s useful to you. 

Practice description

I specialise in giving people a safe, kind and supportive place to process difficult events and emotions. You’ll be able to open up at your own pace and be supported in making important new connections about what’s going on for you.

As we put the big picture of You together I will help you see how your past pops up in your present, and how the feelings you’re feeling in the therapy room can be used to understand the things that happen in your life outside of it.

I believe therapy doesn’t need to be something mysterious and inaccessible, so I work hard to demystify the process for you as we go along and walk with you through the whole journey.

I create and hold a safe and affirming space that is LGBTQIA+ friendly and intercultural, meaning I work with an eye on what makes every culture unique to exist within.

I work from a warm and welcoming counselling centre in central Ipswich which is easily accessible by public transport.

Alternatively, I offer online integrative counselling to save my clients from having to commute to sessions, making it easier for them to carve out a space for themselves in the week.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute no-obligation online intro to anyone who is interested in working with me. 

After that, our first full session will include me asking some intro questions so I can understand what's going on for you right now.

We live in a world that can make us feel muted and powerless when we’re suffering, or like we need to solve things on our own but you don’t need to suffer alone.
