About me and my therapy practice

About me

Do you find it difficult to talk to those closest to you about your issues and concerns? Perhaps you don’t want to burden them or feel worried that they might judge or not understand what you are going through? I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to understand more about yourself and your relationships with others. As an integrative counsellor, I work with a variety of therapeutic approaches and methods, and combine them to suit the needs of each individual client.

I am a registered person-centred therapist. We can work with whatever you bring to therapy and trust what you would like to explore. I believe in the power of being listened to; with compassion and free from judgement. This can help you reconnect with your value and worth, and help you to move forward.

I know it can be a difficult decision choosing a therapist. It also has to feel like a good fit for you. To get a sense of this, I offer a free 15-minute call. If you would like to schedule a call or find out more, please get in touch by clicking 'email me'.

Practice description

It can be a daunting time seeking help when we find ourselves struggling in our daily lives, however I can offer you a safe and confidential space to explore any areas that you feel you are struggling in and allow you the time to gain new perspectives in order to find a more positive way forward.

I firmly believe that all of us have within us the potential to develop and become who we are supposed to be. Sometimes it takes a little digging and self-exploration to find our way to that goal, and I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for you to do this.

I work mainly with adults, helping you to explore your own story and find the way forward that most meets your needs. I am BACP registered, and I'm trained in Humanistic Approaches. I have experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, family difficulties, stress, trauma, historical abuse, relationship difficulties, addiction problems, and self-esteem issues.

My first session

I am offering a free 15 minute call for introduction and to gain an understanding of what you would like to achieve in counselling. This will also, give you an opportunity to gain insight about me and my practice.

Thereafter, sessions will last 50 minutes, and you can book as many as you feel you need,

Concessionary Fees can be discussed based on individual circumstances and discounts offered for individuals in receipt of benefits.
