About me and my therapy practice
I'm a registered psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.Practice description
We may talk about past experiences and memories and explore how they may be affecting the present. Through my process of listening, reflecting back and interpreting, I may be able to offer up new insight into unconscious dynamics of which you were not previously aware.
Through this process you will hopefully gain valuable insight through self discovery and illumination. This in turn can lead to new ways of experiencing and understanding yourself and an ability to proceed in life with a greater sense of inner peace.
My first session
The first session is usually spent getting to know each other a little better and outlining some of the things that brought you to therapy and what you would like to work on.
Some people arrive with lots to say, which is great, and others arrive not sure where to start, which is also fine. It's my job to ask questions, guide and prompt so we can make an appropriate plan to proceed.
