About me and my therapy practice

Hello! I am an online Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing therapeutic support to couples, families and adult individuals. I specialise in working with relationship/family issues.

From my many years experience working with families, I have a deep understanding of the difficulties that all members of a family can face and the impact this can have on developing meaningful relationships. I understand the importance of connection both to ourselves and to others and this is reflected in my counselling practice.

Please do get in touch for a free initial consultation if you are:

 - An individual, couple or family encountering family/relationship issues - I can help to untangle any conflict and support any change needed to allow your relationships to flourish.

 - A parent/co-parents struggling to navigate the many difficult issues of parenthood - I can provide you with therapeutic support and a non-judgemental space, where you can safely explore your worries.

Whatever your family situation, I am here to offer a safe, non-judgemental and dynamic space where you can receive tailored therapeutic support.

Practice description

I am passionate about the safeguarding of all my clients and I operate a transparent and safe practice. I am DBS registered and I ensure my practice is within the context of the BACP Ethical Framework. I welcome Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) in my practice - I am LGBTQIA+ allied and fully support neurodiverse clients

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I am able to weave different therapy approaches into a focused and tailored therapy session, individual to each of my clients. Overall, I adopt an integrative systemic lens to my practice and use specific activities to enhance our work together including timelines, genograms (family trees), couple's exercises and family constellation work. I also incorporate practical tools and skills into my counselling sessions to aid your progress outside of our time together.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation, to see if I am the right therapist for you. We can do this via Whereby (online) or by telephone.

At our first online session we explore your reasons for wanting counselling and identify your hopes for our time together.
