About me and my therapy practice

I offer a collaborative, non-judgemental and safe space where we can explore your anxieties and concerns together. We will always work together at your pace.

In our therapy, we can:

- explore thoughts, emotions and behaviours

- develop understanding and insight

- unlearn old patterns and experiment with new ways of living

I won't offer solutions in our therapy. Instead, I will support explorations towards understanding, acceptance and meaning. My integrative training means I will tailor my approach to suit your needs and welcome the different parts of you.

I also offer creative therapy. This can include painting, music, clay, movement, sand tray, poetry, metaphor and dreams. We can use these methods to consider feelings and meanings contained within creative expressions and experiment with new perspectives. You do not need prior experience or consider yourself artistic in order to engage in creative therapies and this is not mandatory.

I have lived experience of personal challenges and have learnt how opening up in therapy can really help in finding understanding, feeling supported and growing emotional resilience.

Seeking therapy can be a brave decision. We'll talk through the therapy process during the first session and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Practice description

My approach is integrative. This includes humanistic, existential and person-centred approaches. It is rooted in providing an honest space where you can talk through your anxieties and uncertainties. This type of therapy is client-led so we will work together on the issues you wish to explore. The humanistic approach is about free will, self-discovery and achieving your full potential as a human being. It looks at everything that makes you who you are and focuses on you as a unique individual and your relationship with the world around you. Your therapy may be short or long-term, depending on your needs.

I am trauma-informed and attachment-based. I work on the basis that the you are respected, informed and connected regarding your own therapeutic process.

My first session

I offer an introductory session at £25 for 50 minutes. In this session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and explore how we might work together. If you would like to continue sessions, the rate will then be £50 per session. Sessions are usually weekly on the same day and time.
