About me and my therapy practice

Hi, my name is Becky, I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Counselling. I am a registered member with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I pride myself on working within their ethical framework as well as completing regular continuous professional development and attending regular supervision.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor and my way of working is predominately Person-Centred, with elements of Attachment theory, Gestalt and psychodynamic. This in turn allows me to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to allow them to feel at ease within the client-therapist relationship. Furthermore, the integrative way of working also allows me to adapt my practice based on the individual needs of the client and what they bring to each session. I aim to provide a space where clients can feel as though their story is heard and understood in a way that also allows them to explore and work through the difficulties that have brought them to therapy initially in a setting that is both safe and supportive.
