About me and my therapy practice

My work primarily takes a Person-Centred approach, which means you are at the centre of the work we do together. I also identify as an Integrative therapeutic therapist, enabling me to utilise other therapeutic modalities such as the psychodynamic approach, which allow us to delve into any childhood issues and repeated patterns and fears, such as abandonment and attachment issues, where relevant and/or are impacting on your enjoyment of life today.

I also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Existential Therapy techniques.

The sessions follow your rhythm, and you decide the material we work on. The emphasis is on developing a relationship together that works for you. My role is to hear you fully and provide you with the space to explore what is at the heart of your distress.

Throughout our work, I will be open and respectful of your journey and life experience and of the work we do together. I will ensure the space can hold you when you are vulnerable as well as celebrate you and your achievements.

As a professionally regulated practitioner, I uphold the Ethical Framework and working principles stipulated by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bapc.co.uk) for which I am a member.

I am committed to safeguarding and protecting your information under the Data Protection Act 1998, which I hold securely for the legally stipulated period.
