Practice description

The therapeutic relationship with my clients is based on the Person-Centred approach and Attachment-Based Psychotherapy. My approach is focused on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.

The Person-Centered approach emphasises the importance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness in the therapeutic relationship. This approach recognizes that the client is the expert on their own experiences and values, and the therapist’s role is to facilitate their growth and self-understanding. Using the person-centred approach, I focus on creating an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic environment in which the client feels heard, understood, and accepted.

Attachment-Based Psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the impact of early attachment relationships on our current patterns of behaviour and relationships. This approach recognizes that our early experiences with caregivers shape our expectations and beliefs about relationships, and can influence our ability to form healthy attachments as adults. I help clients explore and understand how their early experiences and relationships may have shaped their attachment style and impacted their current relationships and patterns of behaviour. Through this exploration, clients can gain insight into their patterns and make positive changes to improve their relationships and well-being.

By combining these approaches, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is both supportive and empowering, helping clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships and to work towards positive change and growth.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to grow, learn, and heal. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life and provide both short-term and long-term therapy options.
