About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Chantal, I'm an integrative psychotherapist and I specialise in working with women struggling with stress, low self-esteem and burn out.
Many of my clients describe feeling run down by life, drained, overwhelmed, and disempowered to a point where it is impacting their quality of life. If this is resonating, I'm so glad you've found your way here.
Together we can explore what's going on for you, what you need right now, and how you can create more ease and agency within your life.
My approach is holistic meaning I work with both mind and body in supporting you to become empowered in your Self regulation, gain the awareness and practical methods to effectively move towards more of how you want to be and create long lasting change in your life.
My aim is for you to be experiencing more relief and ease within your life by the end of the first six sessions and sustained improvement thereafter.
This is my invite for you to take a pause from life for a regular, dedicated time and space where you get to focus on you. You might like to consider it as a welcome oasis for mind and body. Practice description
My method is compassion focused and blends traditional therapeutic modalities, with neuroscience and Somatic practices into a holistic experience that is relatable and aims to meet your individual needs. In your first session, we'll explore where you are at, what you feel you need, and how we can move towards what you are looking to gain from therapy.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I use a trauma informed practice, working in a way that supports you in getting your life on the track you want, and in ways that feel true for you.
My first session
Before our first sessions starts, I will have already sent you through the admin bits and pieces, meaning when the time comes for us to meet for our sessions, the structure, expectations, contracting, risk assessment and payment procedure will have been communicated and agreed, and we will be all set to focus on you and your process rather than paperwork.
