About me and my therapy practice
I have many years' experience supporting people with emotional and psychological problems within the voluntary and private sector and the National Health Service. I work with issues of depression, anxiety, victims of abuse, bereavement, divorce and separation. I also have a lot of experience with people on the Autistic Spectrum.
My background is in general nursing before studying counselling and psychotherapy in both the Integrated and Gestalt models.
I work face to face, building a supportive relationship in which people can look at their own issues and find new or different ways of addressing them.
I believe it is important to find the right person to work with and allow time for us to get a sense of each other and how it would feel to work together therefore there is no obligation to continue after the initial session if I do not feel right for you.
