About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome to my profile!!
My friends call me Yinka and I am experienced counsellor based in Liverpool. Those who know me say that I am passionate about the work that I do; and I agree. I believe I have the best job in the world.
Coming to counselling can feel scary, and the idea of reaching out has possibly thrown up fears such as being judged; or that other people’s problems are more important than yours. But if you are looking at my profile right now, I will just say this… this is YOUR time; YOUR time for change.
I know how challenging life can be, and often life’s priorities can move YOU down the pecking order of what is important in your life. However, if there is one message I can offer YOU it is this “The Most Important Person In Your Life Is You!”
So, tell me, what has happened to YOU?
Practice description
How will you benefit from working with me?
I offer a safe, warm and confidential space for YOU to be your authentic self; YOU can explore what is happening to YOU in your own time without fear of judgement and at your own pace. I work holistically – which means I draw on a range of therapeutic techniques to help YOU find the path that feels most suitable for YOU. I adopt this approach because at the end of the day, YOU are the expert of YOU.
If YOU decide to work with me I am happy to do so, either face-to-face, remotely i.e. online and also by telephone.
