About me and my therapy practice

I am a Person Centred Counsellor with over 20 years' experience in both the Private and Voluntary sectors, also within the NHS and other health organisations.

I see Individuals and Couples.

I provide a confidential and safe space for all my clients, ensuring every opportunity to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life. I hope I can make the process and therapeutic journe' as enabling as possible for you. Whatever the issues that you are facing, past or present, it is my intention to be 'along side' you, officering time and a supportive and empathic space to look at these issues and the feelings that have been evoked within you.

Having previously been a Senior Accredited member of BACP (since 2009), I have recently returned to Private Practice after taking a 5 year break, during which I chose to expand my knowledge and experience in the therapeutic field, including working within a health organisation supporting medical staff and patients in a hospital; specifically with the field of cancer ( please see my website for more details); in addition, spent time researching and studying my continuing interest in the way physical health can have a great impact on human psychological experience.

I also provide Supervision to other counsellors, and those working in the health professions, including Hospices.

I normally work with clients face to face, depending on the current situation regarding Covid-19
